Database Assistance of Risk Assessments

This diploma thesis is concerned with creation of a computer program for management of technical documentation and its retrieval over a network. The program allows keyword search in documents in a database, either in all of them or in those selected according to given criteria. Any document found is then available for viewing. Moreover, users can create custom shortcuts to arbitrary places in documents for quick access. The program has been written in the PHP scripting language and employs an HTTP server, thus it can be used not only on a local area network but also remotely from other places with internet connectivity.

The diploma thesis deals with the condominiums where apartment owners association is established. The first part of the diploma thesis summarizes basic terms essential for understanding the topic. Subsequently the history of flats ownership in Czechoslovakia and later in the Czech Republic are explained. The first chapter of the analytical part focuses on the foundation of the apartment owners association, the course of the assembly of unit owners and election of a chairman and committee. The last chapter analyses the housing law of selected European country, and its result is subsequently compared to Czech legislation. Lastly, we provide a suggestion for improvement of Czech legislation and answer the questions asked in the beginning. The hypotheses that were established at the beginning are confirmer or refuted and all the results are explained.

1 Summary "STATUTES OF UNIT OWNERS ASSOCIATION" The thesis deals with the statutes of a unit owners association as they are regulated in the Czech law (hereinafter referred to as the "Statutes"). The Statutes are the basic legal document of any unit owners association, through which the rights and obligations of the individual unit owners are exercised. The Statutes should provide any unit owners association with a framework for its smooth functioning in relation to its members (unit owners), as well as in relation to third parties. Much like other juridical (legal) persons, a unit owners association is created when registered to the public register. Its creation is preceded by a founding legal act of the future unit owners, i.e. the future members of the association. Statutory law (i.e. the new Civil Code No. 89/2012 Coll.) stipulates under what conditions the founding members are allowed to establish the unit owners association. For a successful registration of the association in the public register, ordinarily, the Statutes have to be approved by the founding members. The legislation sets out certain mandatory requirements, nonfulfillment of which would lead to a dismissal of the registration. The association of the premiere cinemas (1928-1938)

Cinematography in the Czech lands went through a dynamic development during first decades of the 20th century. Original nomadic theatres and vaudevilles were replaced by permanent cinemas. The first one of this kind in the Czech lands was opened in 1907 in Brno. Movies became soon one of the most common way of spending free time as it was obtainable to all sorts of public. The biggest amount of movie theatres were obviously located in bigger aglomerations, the highest level of cinemas in Czech lands were concentrated in Prague. Here, in the center of the Czech capital, had also started a new trend of building a big screening halls, for a first time originaly projected only for a cinema purpose. These venues, builded in the 20's of 20th century as a part of commercial and financial palaces, were unique for reason to be premiere cinemas. Owners of majority of these special cinemas got together into a special ellite club called The association of the premiere cinemas. Establishment of a joint stock company

This master thesis discusses main characteristics and the process of establishment of joint stock company in the Czech Republic. At first the work analyses the process of establishment of joint stock company through statutes of a joint stock company formation and their mandatory and optional elements. Next part of the thesis deals with the process of creation of the joint stock company by registration to the Commercial Register. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the legislation related to the establishment of joint stock company and to show some general patterns concerning establishment of joint stock company for potential founders.
